A great interview, Luke. The only disappointing thing was that it didn’t go on for another thirty minutes! I was hooked.
If James is able to tackle another UFO project then the disappearance of Alec Freeman is surely a subject worth considering. Maybe he was despatched to a SHADO operation in another part of the world (Antarctica maybe?). Maybe he was abducted by aliens and we not only discover how this occurred but also his thoughts/observations/actions as he sets foot on the alien planet. Maybe he had an irresolvable dispute with Straker, an exception was made regarding the ‘no one gets fired from SHADO’ rule and the story focuses on his new career or life afterwards?
A shame that we didn’t get to hear the Galaxy Quest review/thoughts and observations but, in the meantime, this interview more than made up for that.
